To those of you who are unsure about what you're doing after graduation (myself included), it may seem like life after June will bring about much doom and gloom. But take heart in this article from The New York Times which gives some advice to graduates about what to do after graduation.
Among the questions answered are:
- Is the job market REALLY that bad?
- Are there any less populated job listing sites out there (which would increase your chances of recruiters seeing your resume)?
- Would taking an hourly job unrelated to your future career hurt your resume?
- How can you use Facebook and Twitter to find a job?
Hopefully this article will reassure you that things may not be as bad as the media portrays it to be. It's not too long of a read either, so check it out! Good luck to all the seniors out there!
